Welcome to BLL!

Welcome to the Berlin Little League located in Berlin, CT!

We are a non-profit volunteer organization focused on carrying out the mission of Little League International and providing baseball and softball programs for youths aged 5-15.  Our registration periods typically run from Jan-Apr for our Spring season and Jul-Aug for our Fall season.

Berlin Little League COVID19 Update
Parents,

First off, we hope that you and the kids are all doing well under the circumstances and that everybody continues to be healthy!  We apologize for the delay in communication but like many of you, we have anxiously been watching the news and updates from Little League International in the hopes that some clear answers would become apparent. We badly want to get out there and give the kids an opportunity to play ball this year, but player (and family) safety truly is our number one priority.  Due to these factors and with what we know today, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the season for the following divisions:

  • T-Ball 5 and 6
  • Farm Division Baseball
  • Softie Softball
  • Instructional Softball
  • Challengers

Any players in these divisions will have their registration fees from this year carried forward as a credit on their account towards next year's programs.  If you would prefer a refund, please send me an email with your player's name and we will be happy to send a check to the address on file.  We will not be able to refund to credit cards at this time.

For the players in the remaining divisions of Minors & Majors in both Baseball and Softball, we remain hopeful that we may be able to offer some type of summer program with a delayed start date and a limited season length. Other towns are considering this same possibility and we will weigh this option ourselves with them.  Based upon the state's current reopening phases, we believe that  play could begin after June 29th.  We have set an internal communication deadline of June 22nd to send another update to you regarding our then current view of that possibility.  Any Minors or Majors parents that know they would not be interested in play this year may contact me and we will note it and put a credit on your account or provide a refund if requested.  If your family is in need of a refund due to financial hardship brought about by COVID19 please reach out to me confidentially to learn about financial assistance programs we have in place.

Thank you for supporting the Berlin Little League and we hope that you and your loved ones stay safe!
