posted 05/01/2012 The Berlin Little League is a proud supporter of the Berlin Relay for Life which takes place this year on May 19th - 20th at the Berlin Fairgrounds. Teams are formed and raise money for the American Cancer Society. The twenty four hour event is a fun time for the entire family and it brings the community together to raise cancer awareness and to fund projects the American Cancer Society is involved in.
Last year, the community raised over $90,000 for the Relay for Life.
The day is made up of not only the 24 hours of team members relaying to walk the duration. There is a dinner for survivors and care givers and the very emotional luminaria lap where people can buy luminaria and dedicate them to survivors and those who lost their battle with cancer.
Currently there are 37 teams formed. If you would like to donate to the 2012 Relay for Life

If you are interested in joining one of the teams that has already been formed,

There are fund raisers to support the Relay for Life all month long. BLL's very own Lenny Tubb's Kensington Auto is donating $10 for every oil change they do from May 1 - May 19.
